As of right now, Gamers-Lair is a dream that I have been working on for the past several months. My goal is to find the means to turn that dream into a reality and help provide the Terre Haute area with a table-top gaming store that players will be happy to come visit and spend their time during tournaments, events and casual play.

I can't say for certain when the store will open, but I will say, I am hoping to have a November/December grand opening if everything goes according to plan.

Some may be asking, "What exactly will Gamers-Lair be and what will it provide?"

During my final years of high school and starting years of college, I worked at a gaming store here in town called Raven Crest. Some may know of it, some may not. During my years there the store had a primary focus on Collectable and Trading Card Games such as Magic: The Gathering and Pokémon. Gamers-Lair will also provide a place for players to play card games, but in addition, I would like to provide a place for gamers to enjoy miniatures games such as Malifaux and Warhammer.

In the start, the inventory itself will be small with a decent size building. The goal is to have some of the more popular games available for customers and as the months go on, expand the inventory to allow gamers the opportunity to try out new games and explore other options.

During the first layout design, therewill be space for around 30-45 chairs for card game players while providing a few tables for miniatures. I am also trying to plan for a room which anyone interested will be able to rent to provide privacry for pen & paper role playing games like Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder.

Finally, the aim of the business is to provide a fun, safe and friendly enviroment for gamers all over to come and relax with their fellow gamers. Gamers-Lair is being created by Gamers. For Gamers.
